Gloco has been building high quality winter sports equipment in Germany since 1919 from the finest materials. The Classic Davos or Davoser Rodel 110cm, 43″ is the ultimate traditional snow sledge. Perfect for one rider or this model will quite happily accommodate two people as the seating slats are 75 cm long, 28 cm wide and tested to take 220 kgs. The runners at 35 cm wide overall are wider than the seat, making it very stable indeed. The 5 seat rails curve gently to form an ergonomic shape, and all the beech wood timber has chamfered edges making it splinter free for you and your children & comfortable to hold on any section. Galvanized steel runners sit under timber bottom runners held with countersunk screws, forming a fast gliding sledge that’s easy to steer. This extended length model has 3 pairs of support legs from the seat to the runners, 2 are braced with galvanized steel supports for added strength.
This Gloco German made sled, if treated well, will provide a lifetime’s worth of use. A great traditional family sled.
